Snowboard and Ski Tuning

 24 -48 HR TURNAROUND  (Usually, peak season may need a couple of extra days)

Our workshop is in store in Currumbin with all work carried out by our technicians on site.  No need to ring or make an appointment, please call in store with your gear for tuning. 

Storage Wax Purl All Temp                                                                  $25

Keep your base in the best possible shape between trips by having one of our technicians apply a generous coat of Purl All Temp wax to protect your board/skis between trips.  This also helps your base stay supple for tuning and absorbing wax in the future.

Premium Hot Wax Purl Graphite                                                      $40

 Purl Graphite wax….why? Graphite wax is harder wax containing that reduces the static electricity of fresh powder snow and deals with spring/manmade snow where there are more containments. Or in short, your board/skis will go faster than when they were new.

Full Tune                                                                                                   $60

Base grind base of snowboard or skis.  Edges sharpened and rust taken off.  Then wax applied by hand.  Wax left on over night.  In the morning we scrape and polish snowboard or skis. Ready for the slopes.

Bring snowboard into shop without bindings on board if possible.  We can help you put them back on your snowboard if needed, after tune.

Full Tune plus P-Tex repais                                                              $100

Full tune to snowboard or skis plus deep gauges filled with p-tex by hand.  Sanded back then waxed and polished.

Ski Bindings Mounted                                                                         $100

Custom or open skis need bindings mounted to skis.  We have a Marker and Look jig.

Bring your skis, bindings and ski boot in to shop.

Free service with the purchase of skis and bindings at Snow Alley.  Need your ski boots still.

Snowboard Bindings Fitted to Snowboard.                                       $20

We are happy to fit your bindings to your snowboard.  We can show you how to do this in the future. Bring in your gear to shop.
